Higher Education Wales develops policy on behalf of its members. The views of a wide range of key stakeholders are also taken into account. 

HEW provides strong and effective representation by submitting evidence to key consultations, developing proposals, preparing research reports and analysis, and communicating the perspectives of the universities to government, business and community leaders.
